Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms", "Terms of Service") carefully before using the www.digitalforensiccompass.com website (the "Service") operated by DigitalForensicCompass ("us", "we", or "our"). These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Service, and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have between us regarding the Service.
Our aim is to provide a central location of what tools support what devices. While we aim to be 100% accurate, the data our Site uses may be ‘out of date’ due to a new release of the tool. When a tool is updated we aim to update our date within a day or two.
The devices that the tools claim to support can sometimes be inaccurate especially when it comes to the combination of device version and operating system versions. Many tools say they claim they can extract data from a device but fail to disclose which specific version of the operating system they actually support.
Part of the ‘Terms of Service’ include a limitation of liability. By using the Site you agree not to seek legal action or seek compensation from DigitalForensicCompass. If you are associated with one of the tools, we would happily incorporate a more comprehensive ‘supported devices’ list if you can provide it to us. We do not comment on which tools are better but solely aim to assist you find the appropriate tool in the fastest time. If you would like are refund please see the ‘Refund Policy’ on this page.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 15 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Service.
Return and Refund Policy

You have 30 calendar days to request a refund from the date you commenced a new subscription term, which may be monthly, six monthly or yearly.
Once we receive your request we will verify the payment details with our third-party payment processor and notify you on the status of your refund. If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment). You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer's policies and our third-party payment processor’s payment times.
